Clearance Sales at Walmart!

Great deals are going on at my local Walmart. You may want to check yours, too. Here's what I found today on sale. (I didn't buy all of these things. I just noticed their clearance prices.)

Garden section:
5 gallon Roses on sale for $4
3 gallon Roses on sale for $3
Hibiscus Trees for $5
some varieties of Palms for around $12
Dish gardens with a variety of plants $6 (These were in school-themed pots and could make a great gift for a teacher!)

House Hardware section:
Digital weather center thingys reg. price $29.97 on clearance for $7 and $11
Digital bathroom scales for $10, reg. $40

Home Decor section:
Lamps for $3 and $5
Lamp shades for $7
lots of hand towels, placemats, and throw pillows for pretty cheap

Toys:
I didn't look to closely at this area but there were many items being clearanced out in order to make room for the new stuff for Christmas sales.

Coupons found at Walmart

At my local Walmart, in the sporting goods section, I noticed new Florida Fishing and Hunting booklets put out by the State of Florida that list requirements for licenses, limits, etc. It also contains two good coupons. The first coupon is $10 off $50 at Dick's Sporting Goods (requires a purchase of hunting, camping, or fishing supplies) and the second coupon is for $10 off $50 at Sports Authority and can be used on anything. Both of these coupons are good until June 2009.

The Sports Authority coupon would make a good deal on sale items. We are planning to purchase an outdoor basketball pole and net combo for Christmas this year. I will be saving this coupon for the next time those things go on a good sale.

If you have a young son in your life, this booklet would make for an excellent non-fiction read. I know that my son loves to read stuff like this.

Shop at Wal-Mart with these coupons and save $$
