Maybe it is so we can realize how far we have come, how much we have learned, and how much we have grown. I just "found" Dave this weekend and am loving his Total Money Makeover book. I wish I had read it when I was a senior in college!! Fortunately we aren't in horrible shape, but we do have things to work on... I love your blog! Keep up the great work! :)Marcyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18265483075223570536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6101473495187445515.post-22184813055656404242008-05-19T09:03:00.000-04:002008-05-19T09:03:00.000-04:002008-05-19T09:03:00.000-04:00Who would of thunk that after all that you would h...Who would of thunk that after all that you would have a blog that offers great thrifty tips to many other readers.
Don't you just love the way God brought that all around?Cassie - Homeschooling Fourhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15604648403487773900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6101473495187445515.post-72057355505300728312008-05-19T07:07:00.000-04:002008-05-19T07:07:00.000-04:002008-05-19T07:07:00.000-04:00Oh, we've all done stupid things like this. With our 7th with was illegal to drive in our old van, so last spring '07 we got a bank loan to buy a 15 passenger at a car dealers auction. We bought a newer one due to the technology and roll over rates. My husband insisted. Can I say how much I HATE having this payment? We are working hard to pay it off by next July. Can't wait to get this monkey off of our back. But I am so thankful to have a reliable, safe car to drive our family. We are trying to keep our miles under 1000 a month to keep it as new as possible. Plus we can't afford the gas otherwise:)

Thanks for sharing your story. You're going to do it- we're cheering you on!!Monicahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05856975629899818393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6101473495187445515.post-3243856873653477462008-05-18T20:58:00.000-04:002008-05-18T20:58:00.000-04:002008-05-18T20:58:00.000-04:00Thanks for telling your story!
