Free CVS $10 Gift Card for trying Lifelock for free

I found this at my CVS today. It is on a small square two-sided piece of paper from a tearpad. It says,

Get Lifelock FREE for 30 days and 10% off. Protect you and your family with Lifelock, the leader in proactive identity theft protection, and receive 30 days FREE, 10% off and a $10 CVS gift Card. Go to Lifelock and enter Promo Code "CVS5". Gift card will be mailed within 30 business days of enrollment in Lifelock. No payment, no obligation for 30 days. After 30 days your credit card will automatically be billed. You can cancel at anytime without penalty."
I went to the website and it said you would get 1 $10 gift card for every adult that you register in your household. It also said may take 6-8 Weeks for delivery.

So, I'm thinking that you could try the service for free and cancel it if not satisfied on the 29-30th day and still receive the gift card. It might be worth a shot, especially if you actually receive the gift card before the 30 days are over. Just remember to cancel if you do not wish to continue the service.

What do you think? Is it worth the hassle?

Hmmm, I say it's worth it. $10 goes a loooong way at CVS!

I'm the worst at these things. I ALWAYS forget to cancel and end up spending more than received. I'll have to opt out this time.

I would be careful with Lifelock. There's a LOT of legislation against them in four states, with more to come. I wouldn't want to give over all my personal info to them (all your financials, SSN, etc.) just for a CVS card. You can get a gift card lots of other ways--pharmacy coupon, MyPoints, etc.
