Free Movie Rentals
Free, frugal fun for the family! Here are some ways to rent movies for nothing out of pocket.
First, check out redbox. You've seen these Redbox rentals around town. Ours is at McDonalds. There is a neat website called Inside Red Box which posts codes that you can use to get 1 free rental per credit/debit card. One current code is: Miller. Just enter this code when prompted at the rental machine and it won't charge you for 1 rental. Just make sure you return the movie before 9 pm the next night. This website frequently updates the codes and remember, you can use them once per card. So in my family we use my ATM card, my husband's ATM card, and our Paypal debit card. This equals 3 free movies per code.
Second, thanks to Tasha at Comical Coupon Cents for this link to print out a coupon for 1 free rental at Movie Gallery. It doesn't expire until December 2008. This will come in handy for the summer since my secret pal at work gave me a $10 Movie Gallery Gift Card.
Enjoy,

Be careful with Redbox. Make sure that the code is still good. They expire within a day or so. But, if they expire too quickly as you see it, you can call Redbox and they'll give you another code over the phone. I've done it twice and each time was easy. Also, make sure you return it the next day! $1 a day adds up quickly over a long weekend. yes, I'm speaking from experience here :-D
I've never tried Redbox. Might be a great substitute for Netflix if it doesn't make the budget cut.
