Make Money at Walgreens

This week at Walgreens when you purchase 9 select Proctor and Gamble Items you get 2 $10 Register Rewards to spend on your next purchase. Also, many of these products have coupons in today's Sunday Paper coupon inserts.

The lowest out of pocket cost is to buy Crest Pro-health Night Toothpaste. It is on sale 2 for $5.00 or $2.50 each. In the monthly Easy Saver Catalog there is a coupon for $3 off when you buy 2 of these. So the net cost equals $1 per tube. There are coupons in today's paper for $1 off 2. I only bought 2 copies of today's paper so this is what I did:

9 ProHealth toothpastes: $2.50 times 9= $22.50
Minus Easy Saver coupon -$13.50 (I don't acutally cut these out, my Walgreens just scans them in the book and hands the book back to me. Even though the coupons say "limit" of, it actually always takes the coupon amount off all the items you purchase)
Minus 2 $1 off from newspaper -$2
Total: $7 plus tax
Earn $20 in Register Rewards

I then took my first $10 RR coupon and bought:
1 gallon milk
1 dozen eggs
2 cartons of 8 oz. sour cream
1 Pure American Flavored water
Total after RR= $.23

So, today I spend $8 of my $18 for grocery money for the week. And I have $10 RR left to spend.

There are other combinations you could do but the Crest gives you the lowest out of pocket. Another good deal would be to buy Cover Girl Makeup which is BOGO50% off this week. Combine with the free blush coupons from today's paper and you will make money too! I plan to do the Makeup next Friday after we get paid again.
