Spring Break: Frugal Style

This is our Spring Break but I don't want to break the budget by finding fun stuff to do. So here are things that are on our list to do.

Monday- Christin and Ciarra went to the county fair with cousins since mom and Caleb were sick with the stomach bug. It was buddy night so they each got an armband for $10 each. Armbands are usually $20 each so we saved money there. Ciarra had a free pass to get in so we paid the $5 entrance fee for Christin. They each ate dinner before they went and only spent money on a funnel cake which they shared. Caleb rented a video game from our local movie store which he can keep all week. Total entertainment for the day: $35

Tuesday- Our fun today will be helping daddy spread mulch in our new flower beds and planting the seedlings that we started a few weeks ago. The girls will go get a video from Redbox which we have a free code for so today's entertainment costs: $0

Wednesday- Nothing planned! I think we will use this day to pack up our winter clothes and flannel sheets, etc. Afterwards we will play board games.

Thursday- We will spend the afternoon at a local lake. The cost will be $5 for the car load. We are taking a picnic lunch packed from home. Total entertainment cost: $5

Friday- Another day at home.

Saturday- We are going back to the fair. Armbands will be $15 each kid (with a coupon from the paper) plus $5 each to get in plus food. Expensive day but it is Spring Break after all. Total for this day: $100
