Bonus programs and referral programs have been around as long as the web itself has been around but with the huge number of blogs that us "regular" folks have started, earning bonuses and referral dollars seems to be even easier. I have no problem whatsoever with other bloggers earning money from me signing up under them if a program is legit and applicable to my life. I know that most bloggers (including me) are making a little money from blogging. Some people are making huge amounts of money. (Wish I knew their secrets!)
I don't like to refer people to anything that I'm not currently using myself or that hasn't paid off for me. Here is what is working for me:
Here are my favorite sign-ups for earning free cash or free stuff:
Mypoints.com
Mypoints is a favorite of mine and I have been with them for many years. It seems that a lot of people have
mypoints accounts but don't regularly work it to earn points. One of the easiest ways to use
mypoints is to sign up for their daily emails. In the email is a link that you click on to earn points. Once you do this you will start receiving a barrage of emails from them everyday. At one point I couldn't keep up with the emails and my inbox got so cluttered I became
overwhelmed. So, I created a new email at
google just for my
mypoints account. All of my emails for
Mypoints come
thru that email so I just check it once a day and click the links.
Another easy way to use
mypoints is to print grocery store coupons from their site. For every coupon you print and redeem you earn 10 points. If you print and redeem 5 coupons per month you earn an additional 25 points.
If you haven't joined
mypoints, I encourage you to check it out. If you want a referral email from me to join just let me know by emailing me.
ING Direct
Many of you have signed up for the ING Direct Orange Savings Account and I hope you are enjoying your account as much as I do. It is free to join and open a savings account but if you deposit $250 initially you can get a free $25 bonus. If you haven't joined ING Direct but would like to get the $25 bonus I still have some referrals I can send. If you join through my referral and deposit $250 you get $25 and I get $10. If you don't have $250 to deposit but would just like to start saving mom with them you can join by clicking thru my direct link on the right.
Ebates
Ebates.com is an Internet shopping portal that gives you cash back for shopping online. When you sign up and make a purchase you get a bonus of $5 credited to your account. If you blog and post a direct link to ebates on your site, for every person who signs up thru your link you get $5 and when 5 people total join you get an additional $5 ambassador bonus. So for every 5 people who sign up under you, you receive $30.
For the last reporting period I earned $175 in referral bonuses and $60 in Target gift cards because of my wonderful readers who signed up thru me. Every penny of that money will go to paying off our personal loan which is listed to the right. Thank you to everyone who signed up!
Revolution Money Exchange
This new FDIC insured site is offering $25 in bonus money to each person that signs up for their service by April 15th. This site is an alternative to paypal and works much the same way except that there are no transaction fees! I signed up for their service last week and this morning I had $25 transferred into my hometown bank account. Very easy money!
I then referred my husband who signed up under me. I received an additional $10 and he got the $25. So $60 free money for our house. My $25 is buying a 30-gallon trash can to plant potatoes in for the summer! I love fresh potatoes in the summer time. You must enter your SSN due to the terrorist laws that every bank account must be associated with a SSN. It is a secure, FDIC insured sight just like ING Direct. I felt completely comfortable after reading their policies and we will enjoy the free money. I hope places will begin to accept this just as much as paypal on the web.
If you want your free $25 and wouldn't mind me earning $10 from a referral please sign up by clicking the green "Revolution Money Exchange" button above or on the right side of my blog. Of course, the money will go to paying off my debt!
4 frugal-minded friends say:
Thanks for the info.
You must tell me about this planting potatoes in a trash can. How does this work?
Great post. I actually use everything except the Revolution Money Exchange. Thanks for the tip and enjoy your $10 referral fee on account of me. :)

I signed up but have a question. My husbands info is the same as mine. Is that the way you did it or did you enter different info?
thanks!!
I entered the same info for both of us. I then used the "Send" feature to send his $25 to my account. Therefore I only had to input the banking info once. Now it is all consolidated into my account. :)
