2-ingredient Fudge!

I saw this posted under "Fish Sticks" at fishingfordeals.com and made it this past weekend. It turned out soooo good. Much easier than any fudge I've made before. It wasn't sticky, gooey, soft, or brittle. Just right.

How to do it?
Buy 1 12 oz. bag of baking chips (chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, etc.)
Buy 1 can of cake frosting (not whipped)

Microwave the chips in 30 second intervals until melted. Stir in frosting. Spread into a greased square pan. Chill for 1 hour.

Some variations:
peanut butter chips, milk chocolate frosting
cherry chip frosting, white chocolate chips
white chips, lemon frosting (wouldn't that be pretty for Easter?)
strawberry frosting, chocolate chips

See what you can whip up. YUM

Mmmmm... sounds so yummy! Thanks for posting!

Hey Angie, there was a $5 off of $30 Winn Dixie coupon in our Sunday paper, and Walgreens.com has a $5 off of $20 good tomorrow, Dec. 18 only. Just FYI!

This sounds good. Is it fool proof? I recently tried a recipe that looked so good and so easy. It tasted good, but it never set up like it should - it was still way too soft - not good for giving away.

I tried your peppermint bark recipe last night. I made two batches. Very yummy, but a lot of work. (bought the 2.5 pound package of Ghiradelli white choc. at Sam's and chopped it up myself - well hubby took over because I was tired of doing it.) Anyway, we love it. I have one question - does it do well at room temp, or does it need to stay refrigerated (because of the whipping cream)? I want to give some as gifts, but I'm not sure how well it will hold up sitting out.
Thanks for the recipe - it really is good! And now I need to try this one!

I keep my bark in the frig because we eat it so slowly but it should be good for gift giving. I'm glad you liked it.

This is the easiest fudge I've ever made!

I can't believe how easy this is! It's perfect for me. Yesterday I did semi-sweet chips with cream cheese frosting. YUM! Today I did white chips, triple chocolate frosting and added dried cranberries and walnuts. I can't wait for it to set so I can taste it!! I can't get past the thought of it being a whole can of frosting and a bag of chocolate chips. Kinda sounds gross. I don't think I'm gonna tell anyone until after they taste it! :)
