Wow! More great deals on food! Lately good deals on actual consumable products have been far and few between in my neck of the woods. But this week is the exception. I loaded up on cereal and pop-tarts at Wal-greens and today I hit CVS. While I was there I saw my friend Stacey stocking up on Kraft items too!
CVS is running a Kraft special where you spend $20 and you get $20 Extra Care Bucks back. They also have a special on Aquafresh toothpaste which is on sale for $2.99 and you get $2.99 back.
This is what I did:
First order, 3 Aquafresh toothpastes. I used 3 $2.00/1 tube from this Sunday's paper. (I try to always buy 4 sets of newspapers!)
Out of pocket: $3.18
Received: $8.97 in ECBucks
Second order, 2 packages of Oreos, 2 Planters mixed nuts, 1 Honeycomb cereal, 1 Cocoa Pebbles cereal, and 2 boxes of Honey Maid Graham crackers.
Used this coupons: $1 off 2 boxes of Post Cereal (from July 29), 2 $.35 off Nabisco cookies, and my $8.97 in Extra Bucks from the toothpaste.
Out of pocket: $10.33
Received: $20 Extra Bucks
Total out of pocket today: $13.51
Net profit: $6.49
They paid me to shop at CVS today!!!!
Now, go get some free food!
